1. Who We Are

Seeker Battleship ("we", "our", "the App") is an independent mobile application available exclusively on Solana Seeker devices. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Solana Mobile Inc., Solana Labs, or any related entity.

2. What Data We Collect

On Your Device Only

The following data is stored exclusively on your Seeker device and never transmitted to our servers:

• Your public Solana wallet address
• Seeker Genesis Token (SGT) verification status
• Cached prediction results and theoretical score breakdowns
• Check-in streaks and history
• Portfolio balances and staking data (fetched directly from Solana RPC)
• App preferences and settings
• Payment history (stored locally for your own reference)

Transmitted to Our Servers

The following minimal data is sent to our servers for operational purposes:

• Anonymous analytics: Event type (e.g. "app_open"), anonymous device ID, and a non-reversible identifier. No wallet address, IP address, or personal data is stored in analytics logs.
• Prediction counter: An anonymous count of how many predictions a wallet has run, to enforce the free-tier limit. Only the first 8 characters of the wallet address are logged.
• Payment logs: When you pay for a prediction, we log the transaction signature, payment method, amount, device ID, and wallet address to verify the payment and unlock the prediction.

3. What We Never Collect

• No private keys or seed phrases — ever
• No biometric data
• No location data
• No contacts or device identifiers (IMEI, phone number)
• No browsing history
• No social graph or communication data
• No advertising identifiers

4. Blockchain Data

The App reads publicly available on-chain data from the Solana blockchain via RPC endpoints (Helius and/or the public Solana RPC). This data is inherently public — it is not private data we collect from you. It includes transaction history, token balances, staking positions, and NFT holdings associated with your public wallet address.

Because this data is public on the blockchain, we do not consider it "personal data" in the traditional sense. However, we treat it with care and use it solely to provide the App's functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Helius RPC — Solana node provider used to fetch on-chain data. Subject to Helius's own privacy policy at helius.dev.
• CoinGecko API — Used to fetch SOL price data. No personal data is transmitted.
• Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter — Used for wallet authentication via your Seeker's Seed Vault. No data is shared with Solana Mobile beyond what is required for the authentication handshake.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

6. Payments

When you purchase additional predictions using SKR, SOL, or USDC tokens, the transaction is executed entirely on-chain via your Seeker wallet. We log the transaction signature, payment method, amount paid, and your wallet address on our server to confirm the payment and unlock the prediction.

We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or any traditional financial information. All payment processing occurs on the Solana blockchain.

Payment logs are retained for up to 2 years for financial record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Analytics and Tracking

We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Our analytics system is designed with privacy as a priority:

• We record event types (e.g. "app_open", "prediction_run") but not the content of those events
• We use an anonymous device ID that cannot be linked back to your identity
• We do not store your IP address in analytics logs
• We do not sell analytics data to third parties
• You can opt out of analytics at any time via Settings → Anonymous Analytics

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we do collect:

• On-device data is stored in encrypted SharedPreferences using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences backed by the Android Keystore
• Server-side data is stored on secured infrastructure with access controls
• We use HTTPS for all server communications
• Payment logs are access-restricted and protected by directory-level security

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

9. Data Retention

On-device data is retained until you choose to delete it via Settings → Delete All Data, or until you uninstall the App.

• Anonymous analytics logs: retained for up to 90 days
• Prediction counter data: retained for the duration of the Season
• Payment logs: retained for up to 2 years for financial record-keeping

After these retention periods, data is permanently deleted from our servers.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations) to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, contact us at seekerbattleship@proton.me. We will respond within 30 days. Note that most data is stored on your own device and can be deleted directly via the App's Settings screen using "Delete All Data".

For EU/EEA residents: we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing analytics data, and on legitimate interests for payment verification.

11. International Data Transfers

Our servers may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to our servers in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at seekerbattleship@proton.me and we will take steps to delete that data.

13. Do Not Track

Our App does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as it is a mobile application. However, you can opt out of anonymous analytics at any time via the App's Settings screen.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
